U.S. Immigration and Customs Announces 1,000 New Workplace Audits
Continuing the audit activity of earlier this year, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)announced on November 19 that another 1,000 employers were issued Notice of Inspection (NOI). These 1,000 employers, the names of which have not yet been released, will be audited for compliance with employment eligibility verification laws.
