Position Summary:
The role of the Sales Analyst is to support the EVP, Sales and the sales organization by creating and managing the reporting tools used by the sales organization. This includes the administration of salesforce.com and any other sales analytics tools that may be used to monitor sales activity, sales pipeline and sales benchmarks. In addition, this role will interact directly with the sales team to obtain status updates on opportunities. This individual will also be responsible for analyzing trends within the industry to provide competitive advantage. Finally, the Sales Analyst will assist with scheduling meetings, events, travel and other necessary functions for the sales organization. The Sales Analyst will provide administrative duties for the EVP, Sales and the sales team.
Primary Position Duties and Responsibilities:

| 1. SalesForce.com administration to include design, configuration, improvements, data retrieval, reports, trending analysis, review of sales team's appointments, and to identify red flags. Build dashboards and custom reports. Document best practices for the sales team. Train sales new hires on salesforce.com. Organize pipeline, sales activity and other sales metrics as needed. | 35 |
| 2. Using MS Excel to build financial sales models based on critical data and components of the business. Creating ROI models, sales trending, forecasting and compensation models. This data is of a highly sensitive nature and will require strict adherence to confidentiality. | 20 |
| 3. Creating Sales tools (Powerpoint presentations, etc.) for the Sales team to use with prospective and current clients. Research industry trends and client (new and existing) through Linked In, company backgrounds, and affiliations. Review 10K and 10Q statements, annual reports and other company specific indices to help customize content for sales efforts. | 25 |
| 4. Scheduling meetings, travel, etc. for the Sales team members and other miscellaneous duties, as assigned. | 20 |
Experience
- One year of prior experience in similar role
- Bachelor's Degree, focus on business or marketing
- SalesForce.com experience is preferred
- Strong experience in Excel
- Strong experience in PowerPoint
- Experience with pivot tables and Excel modeling
- Flash experience
- Experience with Illustrator, PhotoShop, and Adobe is preferred
- Experience with Web Ex and/or webinars
